Autism Awareness Blog Hop

22 April 2017

Welcome to the Autism Awareness Blog Hop. The hop is all about Autism awareness and it’s filled with projects using one or more of the Autism colours - red, yellow and blue....I also added green because it was in the top header and also went with my project! At the bottom of the page please go the person after me on the list.

Each member of the hop is sharing a fact or statistic about Autism. Here’s mine:
Did you know? Many children with autism have a reduced sensitivity to pain but may be extra sensitive to sound, touch, or other sensory stimulation, which may contribute to a reluctance to being cuddled or hugged.

Autism is something close to my heart and I know, from my own experience, about sensory stimulation and the link with foods - the taste, textures and even the temperature. Iceblocks, icy poles or whatever you choose to call them can be one of those foods that can cause a problem or even help with creating calm with a child. Hence my project for the hop today:
We would really love if you could donate, even a small amount to the Stamp with Love Fundraising Page by clicking HERE.  All money donated will go towards research and awareness.

Next up on the hop is my lovely and talented friend Candy Rattray from Texas, USA. Please make sure you hop all the down the list and I'm sure we have all raised awareness in the best creative way we can! A huge thank you to Lee Conrey for organising the hop - you rock!!
