2017 Annual Catalogue Swatch Books

My good friend Brian King from the US has done these Swatch Books for couple of years now and he has suggested to me on more than one occasion to make them because his customers, team members and other Stampin' Up! demonstrators find these extremely resourceful when creating. And I have to agree. (Well I can't exactly disagree with Brian now can I?! LOL)

Here's a few reason why they are so great:

They are a perfect reference guide while creating.
You can quickly pick the colours and patterns you want to use.
Lightweight and small enough to keep on your craft desk.
Choose the papers you love and would like to order more of.

The Swatch Books contain all the papers from the 2017/18 Annual Catalogue. The books are clearly labelled and also have the coordinating cardstock on the back. (Not all the papers are shown in the image - you will receive 15 packs.)

Cost:

$35.00 Includes Shipping Australia Wide

15 packs of Designer Series Paper are included in the swatches.
Swatch books are 3"x6" with speciality pieces cut at 1.5"x6"
Each pack is clearly labelled and has the coordinating cardstock on the back

How it works:

When you register for a Swatch Book I will send you a PayPal invoice to be paid before the closing date. I will place an order on the 22nd June 2017 and eagerly await to receive the order from Stampin' Up!. I will then cut and label all the books and mail them to you - how fun! You can expect to receive them by mid-July.

It's a Public Holiday here in Australia and I spent the day with my lovely friend and cousin-in-law, Marlene. We had a fun day creating with some new products and chatting. It's also Monday which means there's another Global Design Project challenge:

Let's talk about 'wheels' - they seem to be a big part of my life! My son LOVES to scooter ride and yesterday my husband managed to assemble a skate ramp he got for his birthday. Also, my husband ride and builds motorbikes. So one would think I would create either a scooter or a motorbike - nope I didn't! I created a bike for me - pink and paper... my kind of bike!! Hahaha.

The new Bike Ride stamp set with coordinating Build a Bike Framelits has so many possibilities and
I know I had a lot of fun creating this card.

First I stamped the frame/body of the bike in Powder Pink and the wheels in Smokey Slate with the rims in Powder Pink (every bike needs matching pink rims!) and then cut out using the coordinating framelits on the Big Shot. I adhered the wheels to the frame using Multipurpose Glue. I created the basket to orinally sit on the back, however I really liked it on the ground at the front as it seemed to balance the card out - either way....a pink bike with a basket of flowers is just too sweet in my opinion!

Welcome to the Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop. You may have just arrived here from my beautiful friend Sarah Berry from the UK. If you are starting here please make sure you hit the next button at the bottom of this post and hop all the way around.

The theme for this hop is 'Your Favourite Stamp Set'. Well with SOOOO MANY new favourites in the catalogue it was REALLY hard to cut it down to just one. However in my box of goodies that arrived this week, I would have to say that the Floral Statements was a stand out for me. It's simple and feminine and also bold and elegant. Ink it up, stamp, give it some colour and you've got a gorgeous card. The stamp does all the work!

I will admit that the black does look a little wishy-washy, however I actually like it. I suggest using a Stamp-a-ma-jig to make the black more vivid. First I stamped the image using Archival Black Ink onto Shimmery White and used my trusty Aqua Painter to colour in the flowers and simply mounted onto some Crumb Cake Cardstock and then some Flirty Flamingo Cardstock. I am really happy with this stamp set and I will definately be using it again soon!

Happy Monday! It's time for another Global Design Project challenge and in case you may have been living under a rock...the NEW ANNUAL CATALOGUE is now live, which means you can get your hands on all the projects I have used in today's card!

I love it when Stampin' Up! create papers that do all the hard work! The new Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper is simply gorgeous and there really isn't any need to add to much more!

I used the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper to create the little flower and leaves. I really like the sentiment 'Life is a beautiful thing' from the new Colorful Season stamp set not only because of the words but also because the font is lovely too.

In my attempt to start filming more of my projects I created a quick video with a tip on how I created the little flower. Products are located at the bottom of this post.
