Case Card Challenge

15 May 2012

Welcome to the Case Study Card Challenge.

I have been following this blog for a long time, as my upline, Teneale Williams is a part of the design team. Each week they have a Guest Designer (called a Muse.)

This weeks Muse is Agnieszka Malyszek.
I love what she has done with the random placement of the pearls and the simple use of the flower stamp, leaving alot of 'white' space - it looks so elegant. I went with a similar design, using stripes at the bottom and the sentiment. I love the flower stamp I have used and I am now a big fan of random bling/pearl placement!

Here is Adnieszka's card:

Here is my Case:

Stamp Sets: Array of Sunshine (host a workshop and it could be yours for only $16!) ; Thank You Kindly
Accessories: Scallop Punch and Pearls of course!
Colour Combination: My fav - PINK! Hahaha. Rose Red and Regal Rose.

I hope you have enjoyed my first Case Study Card Challenge - hopefully I will be able to find the time to join in regularly, I have enjoyed doing this challenge!

Mojo Monday Challenge 240

Mojo Monday is a card challenge I am doing every week.  This week I'm running a bit late and usually try to have it uploaded before Sunday night, because tomorrow there is a new sketch!

My card this week has an Asian influence and was inspired by our son's karate birthday party this week. He has recently started karate lessons and our world has been taken over ninja style!

I thought this card would be suitable for any male of any age.

This weeks Mojo Sketch:

My Creation:

There's no middle, because it's just a plain white insert - bit boring I know, but just wanted something simple. I used the small stamp from 'Circle Circus' and the birthday greeting from 'On Your Birthday'.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY - What we do for our children!

I also enjoy making/decorating cakes as a hobby. I have never done any courses, just taught myself. This is our son's karate inspired birthday cake - which was chopped in half with samurai sword! At least with cards they don't get chopped and eaten and the hard work can be savoured a little longer!

Thanks for looking - remember...I love your feedback!

Mojo Monday Challenge 239

Mojo Monday is a sketch challenge I am participating in every week.

My Mojo this week is also a birthday card for a very dear friend, Sue. This
one was a little bit of a challenge because I wanted to add so elements; like birds and the Eiffel Tower, shabby flowers, tea pots and toile! I had all different colour schemes going and stamps sets pulled out...I was in a fluster!

So I stuck to the toile & tea - two things that come to mind when I think Sue. I also went with the 'tea theme' because tomorrow I have to dress pretty, get my little pinky finger working and play ladies for High Tea to celebrate her birthday. I think I can handle that! ;)

This is the Mojo Sketch:

My Creation:

Stampy Sets: Tea Shoppe - from Autumn/Winter Mini & Elements of Style - Pg94 from main catalogue
Accessories: Big Shot, Framelits, Seam Binding Ribbon, Designer Frames and Pearls
Colour Combination: Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Attic Boutique Designer Paper

Thanks for looking - LOVE your comments!
