An Aussie Welcome!

Just Add Ink 246
An Aussie Welcome

The final challenge over at Just Add Ink for 2014 is Just Add Gift Giving and even though I know there's lots of gift giving happening this time of year, I wanted to share my welcome gift to my special friend Mehgan.

If you haven't met Mehgan yet, let me introduce you....she's awesome!

If you follow my blog you may already know of a very special friendship that was formed at the Stampin' Up! American Convention I attended in Utah last year. On the very first day of the convention our worlds collided in the lift and the rest is history! You can read about it >here<

Mehgan also joined us on the Stampin Up Grand Vacation this year on the Allure of the Seas and if you would like to go back down memory lane that post is >here<

Meghan flirted with the idea of coming to Australia and I gently encouraged (*nagged and nagged) her to just do it! To my surprise she went to work the next day and applied for a month off...to say we were excited was an understatement! She arrived on the 16th December and has already put all these goodies to good use! We wanted to make sure she had all the essential items required for an Aussie Summer.

I'm calling it Mehgan's Aussie Survival Kit. It's jam packed with Aussie must haves!

To 'The People In My Corner':
As the year comes to an end I would like to thank my amazing, super patient husband for all his support. I love you and none of this would be possible if you were not in my life.
Thank you to my adorable children, my ahhh-may-zing Mum, awesome brothers and sisters-in-law, friends, family, team members and all of you who have been 'in my corner' cheering me on and supporting this crazy hobby that brings me so much happiness. My heart is full and I am so thankful you are all in my life.

Hoping you had a fabulous Christmas and recovering well today!
See you in the New Year.

Stampin' Up! Style Team Christmas Party

23 December 2014

Tickled pINK Team Christmas Party 2014.
As a thank you to my team I wanted to give my lovely ladies a breathtaking end of year celebration...Stampin' Up style!  I have been fortunate enough to earn two Stampin' Up! Grand Vacations and when the company throws an event it's with all the trimmings and all the little details are created with Stampin Up products!

Vintage style place settings  using Burlap Ribbon, Venetian Crochet Trim and Muslin Bags.

Cute little personalised name tags using the Endless Wishes stamp set and Labels Collection Framelits.

Every good amazing party needs a party favor! This one uses the snowflake from the Snowflake Card Thinlit Die. Inside a container of buttons.

Life's short...eat dessert first!
Gold Embossed banners created using the Larger Than Life Alphabet & Numbers stamp set and Banners Framelits.

Fondant pressed Lovely Lace Cookies using the Lovely Lace Embossing Folder....and they were delicious too!

Take your shot!
My handmade Tickled pINK chalkboard and notice the camera in the middle...yep that's right, it's the Snapshot Stamp!

My partners in crime...bestfriend and team member Kabrina and my beautiful friend Mehgan who travelled from Arizona just to attend the event....well that and to see me of course!

Always keeping the party alive is my gorgeous cousin and longest standing team member Marlene with the very funny and beautiful Lisa

I love this photo of Cherie with her head in the frames...very cute!

Pressie Time!
Gifts wrapped in Festive Designer Kraft Paper trimmed in bows using Cherry Cobbler Sheer Ribbon and tags created in MDS.

I wore some crazy singing santa hat for a bit of fun!

Love this photo of Kabrina and I....she really was super excited about this pressie... *smiles*

Super sweet Lissa loved hers too!

So, that's it.

We all had an awesome night, filled with laughs and fun. Our hearts were full, but probably not as full as our tummies!

Super-Duper Special Thanks:
No, I did not throw this together over night on my own! It took many hours of work, late nights and only one breakdown to put it all together...ok, maybe two!

But I could not have done it without my amazingly talented team member and friend Giselle, who is starting an events business in the very near future and doesn't have a website yet...when she does I will link in her breathtaking work...trust me, she's incredible. Thank you Giselle for all your hardwork.

My two friends Nicole and Joanne for listening to my crazy thoughts and helping me execute the ideas in my head! I could never repay you for all the time you out in helping me.

To my two awesome friends  Mehgan and Kabrina for putting up with all my demands and helping me set up and clean up.  (I asked Mehgan if she had jet-lag as she has just flown in from the US and she said "no, I have Lou-lag"!!!)

Last but certainly not least...
It's hard to find the right words to say to thank my extraordinary husband. There are no words significant enough other than I totally love and adore you. Thank you so much for everything you do.
