Grand Vacation Achievers Blog Hop

27 August 2015

Hello and welcome to our Grand Vacation Blog Hop for August. The blog hop was created to celebrate those who had earned a Stampin' Up! Grand Vacation this year, to showcase our creations and share our love of Stampin' Up!

The theme for this blog hop is Holiday Catalogue Sneak Peek....you are going to want to make sure you 'hop' to next person after me - Louise Sharp - on the link list and don't miss any inspiring projects from demonstrators from around the world!!

The Holiday Catalogue....SWOON.
OH.MY.GOODNESS.....Forget about eating, it's overrated! Hahaha. You are going to want just about everything in this catalogue, and will be available to purchase products after the 1st September 2015.

I have a created a sweet Christmas Table Setting.
I LOVE doing up the table for Christmas and hosting parties, you can see last years team party >here<. I just knew when the catalogue came I had to start thinking about a table settings!

Placemat: Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper - page 9
Favor/Gift: Muslin Bag (from Annual Cattie) ; Oh,What Fun Stamp Set - page 5
Name Tag: Peaceful Wreath Stamp Set - page 21
Straw: Jingle All the Way Stamp Set - page 12

The little bit of holly was cut from the nutcracker stamp from the Sparkly Seasons Stamp Set on page 40. I printed out the name tag myself using the same font as the stamp set, which is called Peoni Pro. The gorgeous (if I say so myself) Muslin Bag has been painted using water and Read Red Ink and I set it aside to dry overnight. Simple!

Now moving onto the next person on the list, remembering, you are at Louise Sharp, so please click the person after me on the list.

INKspired Blog Hop - Made With Love Little Dear

23 August 2015

INKspired Blog Hop & Sentimental Sunday

Warning: CUTEST CARD IN HISTORY. Ok, I don't want to toot my own horn....BUT this is would have to be up there for the KEW-YOUUU-TEEST card I have EVER made!

Welcome to our 23rd INKspired Blog Hop. You may have just arrive here from my gorgeous friend Lissa. If you have just arrived here, please be sure to jump all the way around to see all the amazing creations.

Teneale's sketch this week was a little beauty and I knew exactly what I wanted to create, which was a pleasant feeling, as I usually sit thinking for hours and have every stamp set I own out on the table!

Are you ready to say "Nawwww"?!

A wee Little Deer for a wee Little Dear.
I told you it was too cute for words! I made this card for to congratulate the safe arrival of a sweet baby girl into the lives of two super special people, Clare and Brendan.

I used Watercolor Paper and an Aqua Painter to give the background a watercolor mark using the Pink Pirouette Ink Pad and pressing ink into the lid. I also used the Aqua Painter to colour the wee little deer from the Made With Love stamp set.

Next on the hop is my beautiful and talented friend Marlene.

Sentimental Sunday is the day of the week I like to recognise someone special in my life. Today I would like to share with you 'Our' Clare. When our children were very young Clare was our Nanny. Not only was Clare our Nanny, Clare was my friend. She helped me with the two most important people in my life, my two beautiful children. And I could not have picked a better, more loving and caring person if I tried. Clare was God-send, literally. I am sure God sent her to me to help me through some of the toughest days and moments in my life at the time. More importantly, both our children adored her and she adored them. I will forever be grateful for having Clare in our lives and I know she will make the best Mum ever.

Thanks for hopping by,

Just Add Ink - You Rock

21 August 2015

The challenge over at Just Add Ink this week is Just Add Males. Ugh, masculine cards often have me in a tizz. They're generally not to be pretty and pink, with lace and ribbon! However, I knew exactly what I wanted to create this week and I'm quite happy with my masculine creation.

With Father's Day just around the corner, I wanted to acknowledge my amazing, fabulous husband....who seriously does ROCK! He is also pretty 'sharp' on the guitar too....pardon the pun!

I used the guitar and sentiment from the 'Skating By' stamp set.

I'm not sure if you can tell from the above photo, but the timber frame has been made with a square cut out and the layer inset into it....I hope I'm making sense!?

Want some more masculine inspiration? Oh that sounds really bad doesn't it?!! Sorry, I'm not sending you off to a site filled with Brad Pitt, George Clooney or Channing Tatum! Even better....masculine cards created by the amazingly talented Design Team over at Just Add Ink.

Thanks for stopping by,

INKspired Blog Hop - Sprinkles on Top

09 August 2015

INKspired Blog Hop & Sentimental Sunday

Welcome to yet another INKspired Blog Hop. You may have just hopped here from my dear friend Lisa. If you have just arrived here, be sure to hop all the way around to see all our amazing creations this week.

The sketch challenge, created by Teneale, was a challenge for me this week....I had to tilt the cardstock on its side and I was not coping! LOL

I got through it and used the new Sprinkles on Top stamp set, which coordinates perfectly with Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper.

Notice my faux-shadowing?! I used the Sahara Sand Stampin' Write Marker with a Blender Pen and carefully added a shadow around each delicious donut.

On to my Sentimental Sunday. The day of the week I recognise someone special in my life.
Next week is my super adorable and cheeky God-daughters birthday. I simply love this kid and she always gives the biggest cuddles...which I have of course taught her, because I have taught her every good thing she knows!  #wink ;)

Next on the hop is my fabulous and talented friend Marlene.

Just Add Ink - Photo Inspiration

07 August 2015

Over at Just Add Ink this week the challenge is to use the photos as our inspiration. Well....a challenge it was! I struggled....yep....no pink! Also very modern and stripes. Hmmmm...thinking cap on. Now that I'm done I am actually quite happy with myself!

As soon as I saw this challenge I immediately thought of my close friend Kylie Bertucci....she loves contemporary, modern, clean and fresh. So I decided to make this card for her to thank her for helping me with an (exciting) upcoming Stampin' adventure....stay tuned! ;)

The Design Team are on fire this week with their creations. Be sure to pop over and see them!
