Product Spotlight - Papillon Potpourri

Lou's Product Spotlight

Once a fortnight I am going to do my own product spotlight. I will try to do a tutorial as well, however just going to start with a very simple post, highlighting a new product from the catalogue that is now in my collection.

I am thrilled to add to my collection the new Papillon Potpourri butterfly stamp set on page 115 and the new matching Elegant Butterfly Punch on page 184. I believe these are a 'must have' for any stampers collection. 

This card was used as a make and take at a recent card party. It was a huge hit and one lady even referred to this set being like a 'staple' item for any stamp collection - I have to agree!

Wedding Wishes

My friend, Deb, came to me last week asking if we could make a wedding card for a close work friend. She wanted something clean and elegant, however an element of  'cuteness' and I think this card has all of these. 

I can't say I came up with this tri-fold design myself, because Deb has a great way of designing and giving me ideas - so this card is a joint effort!

When I was making this card I thought about the day I married my husband and how quickly the day went and how I wish I could have just slowed time down and kept my wedding dress on for another 24hrs!

It was my older brother, Bob's, birthday a couple of weeks ago and his very caring, loving sister waited until she could get her hands on this stamp set to use for his birthday card! 

Happy Belated Birthday Bob!

Bob enjoys a good quote and a good off the coast swell (ie.surfing), so I made him this card for this weeks Mojo Monday.

Not sure if it's my favourite sketch and if I like the rays of sun effect I was trying to create, but I do like the simplicity of this card and I know Bob will love it - so that's all that matters!

Launch Party Success!

Yesterday was my first ever Stampin' Up! New Catalogue Launch Party.

It has been a little bit crazy in the Sharp house (yes - more than normal!) as I prepared tirelessly to have everything perfect! Our home was transformed into 30-odd people ooo-ing and arrrr-ing!

 

I tried to make everything as 'yummy' as possible!

Take your little goodie bag when leave!

Just Add Ink - Scrapbook Sketch

Just Add Ink Scrap Challenge#9

My First Scrapbook Challenge.

I haven't scrapbooked for years and I really enjoyed doing this page. 

I am creating a large display board of new products in anticipation of my LAUNCH PARTY (see earlier post for invitation) and needed something to show off all the papers in the new 'Floral District Designer Paper'. 

This sketch by Ruth Clarke at Just Add Ink was just the thing!

I also thought I would case another Just Add Ink designer, Tina Gillespie. I was so drawn to this scrapbook page. I loved the bright, happy beach image and the different coloured flags - thanks Tina!
