Our blog hop is always a sketch challenge created by the super creative Teneale Williams.  Admittedly sometimes I struggle, pulling out very stamp set I own (ok, slight exaggeration) however this week everything just seemed to come together! 

Here's this weeks sketch:

I used the new Christmas Bauble from the latest Holiday Catalogue, stamped with StazOn Ink on Watercolor Paper and coloured with the Stampin' Write Markers.

Paper Christmas Cake

Let's Have Cake! 
This is the best type of cake - calorie free and no plates to wash up afterwards! 

Last year a friend of mine, who has a very cute and 'quirky' little shop in Kiama asked me to make a paper cake for her as a table centrepiece. Well last year got away from me and this year when I saw her she asked again, and I wasn't going to let her down for a second year in a row!

Just Add Ink - Swallowtail

Happy (Belated) Birthday
This time of year brings seems to bring lots of birthdays and if you are a friend or family member you would know that I am terrible at getting birthday cards to people on time - if at all! I KNOW right, that is so bad, I make cards for a living!

So this card is no different, it's late. The lovely recipient of this card has been waiting since September! It's for my husbands Aunty who thankfully knows what I'm like and loves me anyway...well I hope she does!? Maybe I could say that this is really early for next year?

This week over at Just Add Ink, it's a colour challenge.

I decided to use the Swallowtail stamp, I haven't pulled this out in a long time, but I love it in this brown. The background is gold embossed, not sure if shows up very well in the picture, however it looks lovely in 'real life' - you'll just have to trust me!
