INKspired Blog Hop #10 Something For Baby

Welcome to our tenth blog hop. If you have just arrived here from my beautiful friend Lissa then you're in the right spot! If you are starting from here be sure to hop all the way around by clicking the next button at the bottom.

My card today has been created for a very special friend and team member, Hope, who recently welcomed a sweet little girl into the world. I haven't had the chance to meet her yet, but when I do there will no doubt be smooches...oh the smell of a brand new bubba!

Here is this weeks sketch inspiration:

Next on the hop is my fabulous friend Marlene, I know you'll love her take on this weeks sketch.

Just Add Ink Blog Hop 247

You're Simply Wonderful
Welcome back to the first Just Add Ink challenge of the year. The challenge is Just Add Love, a sketch challenge and also a blog hop.

If you have just arrived here from the ever so talented Narelle Farrugia then you're in the right spot!

My card hasn't got hearts and isn't for Valentine's Day, but is made with tons of love for a very special person, my Mum. Mums are such special people and my Mum is no different and she is 'simply wonderful.' It was her birthday at the end of the year and sadly she didn't even get a card! So this a belated birthday card, a thank you and an I love you card all rolled into one.

A while ago Teneale Williams did a 'faux embossing' kind of technique using leaves and I loved it and always wanted to try it. It may not be as amazing, but I quite like the way it has turned out with the Bitty Butterfly punch. I simply used the same colour cardstock as the base card and glued them on randomly.

Next stop on the blog hop is my talented beautiful friend and team member Kim Badelt.
Press the image below and hop all the way around!

Thanks for 'hopping' by,
Lou xo

Inkspired Blog Hop - Indescribable Gift

11 January 2015

Inkspired Blog Hop #9

You may have just hopped here from Lisa, welcome to our ninth team blog hop.

Here is this weeks sketch inspiration:

This is my first card for 2015. I was fortunate enough to get to my craft room with Mehgan on the last night before she travelled home to the US, so all of the design work was a team effort..thanks Mehgan for choosing the colours, the stamp set, the DSP and the rounded corners...ok, so I should take no credit for this card...I did make it! :)

I am in L.O.V.E with the latest Occasions Catalogue, it's so yummy. This stamp set is called Indescribable Gift and I have coloured it using the Blendabilites alcohol markers.

The next member on this blog hop Maree.

If you would like to purchase the items used for this card be sure to click on the item below and you will be directed to my online store.

My first project from the new Occasions Catalogue is a name badge I made together with Mehgan. For those new to my blog you may not know Mehgan...she is my Stampin' Up best-friend from Arizona who is visiting for month. Mehgan unfortunately returns home this week and this is the first time we have managed to craft together!

Mehgan said she needed a name badge for an upcoming crafting event and what better place to start than the newest catalogue. We have used the crisp cantaloupe flower from the Build a Bouquet on the front page and made the button gold instead of yellow.

If you would like you very own free hard copy please register below and I will post you one.
*Please do not register if you are a current demonstrator!

I will be back with more posting about our holiday adventures with Mehgan and more creations from the Occasions Catalogue.

Thanks for stopping by,
Lou xo
