Just Add Ink - Sketch Challenge

The challenge at Just Add Ink this week is a sketch challenge created by design team member, Tina.

I wanted to create a soft, pink and elegant birthday card for my beautiful friend, cousin and Stampin Up sister Marlene. We share a love of papercraft and she blows me away with her talent!

For the background stripes I used the Irresistibly Yours Specialty Designer Paper from the 

Sale-a-Brations brochure and coloured it with the Pink Pirouette Stamp Pad and a dauber.

INKspired Blog Hop - Flower Patch

Welcome to another INKspired Blog Hop. You may have just arrived here from my beautiful friend 

Lisa, I loved her take on this sketch using the Butterfly Basics stamp set.

This weeks sketch created by Teneale had me thinking up an Hawaiian themed card, because this week I EARNED MY 3rd STAMPIN' UP! INCENTIVE TRIP .... TO HAWAII! Yes, I am screaming it! Yes, I am super-dooper excited and yes, I would like to thank YOU my blog followers, customers, team, family and friends for all their support.

My biggest supporter (and extremely patient) husband and I jetset off in May, so stay tuned for my Hawaiian adventures and more tropical themed papercraft!

I used the Flower Patch stamp set and the 'thanks' from the Another Thank You stamp set, both from the main catalogue. I thought both were very fitting for this weeks challenge!

Just Add Ink Colour Challenge - Indescribable Gift

Really? We are only weeks from Easter, we have only just had Christmas!

This week over at Just Add Ink is a colour challenge and we all know what I'm like with colour challenges! #colourchallenges #notmyfavourite #thisonewasok

I was inspired by a card Teneale Williams created a couple of weeks ago using one of my new favourite stamp sets,  Indescribable Gift from the Occasions Catalogue. I heat embossed using Versa Mark and White Embossing Powder on Vellum and coloured using the Stampin' Write Markers. 

I created the frame using the Square Framelits and also couldn't help but make a pink one!

INKspired Blog Hop - Your Perfect Day

This week seems to have flown by and suddenly it's Sunday and time for another Inkspired Blog Hop. You may have just hopped here from my beautiful and talented friend Lissa.

Our latest sketch challenge, created by our team leader Teneale Williams, really had me thinking because of all the blank space I had to fill! 

In the Occasions Catalogue there's been two new products I have been itching to use. One of them is the new Chalkboard Paper and the other is the Your Perfect Day stamp set. I used Versa Mark and heat embossed using white embossing powder as I found it gave me a crisper more white effect, other than a washed out look.

Next on the hop is my fabulous friend Marlene with an awesome birthday card, I just love it!
