Stampin' Up! Style Team Christmas Party

23 December 2014

Tickled pINK Team Christmas Party 2014.
As a thank you to my team I wanted to give my lovely ladies a breathtaking end of year celebration...Stampin' Up style!  I have been fortunate enough to earn two Stampin' Up! Grand Vacations and when the company throws an event it's with all the trimmings and all the little details are created with Stampin Up products!

Vintage style place settings  using Burlap Ribbon, Venetian Crochet Trim and Muslin Bags.

Cute little personalised name tags using the Endless Wishes stamp set and Labels Collection Framelits.

Every good amazing party needs a party favor! This one uses the snowflake from the Snowflake Card Thinlit Die. Inside a container of buttons.

Life's short...eat dessert first!
Gold Embossed banners created using the Larger Than Life Alphabet & Numbers stamp set and Banners Framelits.

Fondant pressed Lovely Lace Cookies using the Lovely Lace Embossing Folder....and they were delicious too!

Take your shot!
My handmade Tickled pINK chalkboard and notice the camera in the middle...yep that's right, it's the Snapshot Stamp!

My partners in crime...bestfriend and team member Kabrina and my beautiful friend Mehgan who travelled from Arizona just to attend the event....well that and to see me of course!

Always keeping the party alive is my gorgeous cousin and longest standing team member Marlene with the very funny and beautiful Lisa

I love this photo of Cherie with her head in the frames...very cute!

Pressie Time!
Gifts wrapped in Festive Designer Kraft Paper trimmed in bows using Cherry Cobbler Sheer Ribbon and tags created in MDS.

I wore some crazy singing santa hat for a bit of fun!

Love this photo of Kabrina and I....she really was super excited about this pressie... *smiles*

Super sweet Lissa loved hers too!

So, that's it.

We all had an awesome night, filled with laughs and fun. Our hearts were full, but probably not as full as our tummies!

Super-Duper Special Thanks:
No, I did not throw this together over night on my own! It took many hours of work, late nights and only one breakdown to put it all together...ok, maybe two!

But I could not have done it without my amazingly talented team member and friend Giselle, who is starting an events business in the very near future and doesn't have a website yet...when she does I will link in her breathtaking work...trust me, she's incredible. Thank you Giselle for all your hardwork.

My two friends Nicole and Joanne for listening to my crazy thoughts and helping me execute the ideas in my head! I could never repay you for all the time you out in helping me.

To my two awesome friends  Mehgan and Kabrina for putting up with all my demands and helping me set up and clean up.  (I asked Mehgan if she had jet-lag as she has just flown in from the US and she said "no, I have Lou-lag"!!!)

Last but certainly not least...
It's hard to find the right words to say to thank my extraordinary husband. There are no words significant enough other than I totally love and adore you. Thank you so much for everything you do.

Suppliers:

(cookies, passionfruit tartlets and salted caramel slice)

(vintage frames)

Racheal Ridley
(flowers)

(tables, chairs and linens)

Thanks for stopping by and enjoying our party!

Just Add Ink - Photo Inspiration

19 December 2014

From Our Home to Yours
Giving. It's what we all love to do isn't it? And I know that it doesn't have to be Christmas time to show how much we appreciate our love for others, but I think as the year starts to draw to a close we become more thankful for the past year and the loves ones we have around us.

There's so many people to thank in my Stampin Up family (one of them being Brian King...he will get his own special post shortly!) but one special friend from across the seas is the ever so beautiful, talented and sweet Michelle Last. Michelle has a dachshund and I found some uber cute pressies for her and her cute Pip (I forgot to photograph before sending, sorry) so this card not only was made for Just Add Ink this week, but also for Michelle.

The challenge over at Just Add Ink this week is a photo inspiration by Nikki and I love it, so 'me' this year!

On the lead up to Christmas it's so exciting, but also a little overwhelming. Be mindful to enjoy what is important and give thanks to all those you love and who also love you!

For me I would like to thank all my Stampin' Up! family, friends, my two adorable children, amazing husband, fabulous Mum, awesome brothers and sister-in-laws, my extended family and all of you who follow my blog, I am truly grateful.

Tons of Love,
Lou xo

Inkspired Blog Hop - Mingle All the Way

14 December 2014

INKspired Blog Hop #7

If you have just hopped here from Lissa you are in the right the spot! If you have just arrived, please be sure to hit the next button at the bottom of the page and 'hop' all the way around...comments are nice too! ;)

Here's this weeks sketch challenge:

I changed my design a little to be a square card. It's not my usual 'tons' of layers type card, I was trying to stay clean and simple this week and I'm really happy with the result.

Thanks again for 'hopping' by, next stop is my beautiful friend Marlene with her super cute chicky babe card!

Just Add Ink - Flower Patch

Just Add Ink 243

Happy Blooming Birthday!

I made this card for a very special family member....and yes, in true Louise style, she hasn't received it yet! But I know she will love it and it will take pride on her mantle for a little while, so hopefully it will feel like her birthday is extended and continue to feel the love!

The challenge over at Just Add Ink is a colour challenge. Usually with colour challenges I feel, ugh, never knowing where to start! But I was excited about this one as I knew exactly what I was doing and it came together just how I liked.

Be sure you go and check out the other talented Design Team Members this week,

Thanks for stopping by,
Lou xo
