INKspired Blog Hop #46

27 November 2016

Welcome to the INKspired Blog Hop this Sunday evening. You may have just hopped here from Maree McIntosh.

Every two weeks we have a sketch challenge and enjoy sharing our team creations with you. We have a great lineup this week, so please make sure you hop all the way around by hitting the next button at the bottom of the page. Here is this weeks sketch:

I am feeling way behind, which is generally the case this time of year! Everyone is getting ready to send Christmas cards and I have even started receiving some this week. I've noticed some people have their trees up and all their homes decorated. In my head I'm screaming "SLOW DOWN PEEPS - IT'S STILL NOVEMBER!" And here I am running like crazy to even get some sort of collection together to send to my beloved friends, family, team and customers.

As you know I LOVE all the Project Life Card Collection packs. They are so beauiful and can make the most beautiful cards with limited time and fuss. I have used the Hello December 2016 pack on page 31 of the Holiday Catalogue.
I used the same sketch to create all four cards. These cards have no stamping and I have used the Christmas Trinkets Embellishments to them some little extra something special!
I'm not sure if you could tell from the above pictures, but I have also used the Fancy Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper. It's so gorgeous this paper and I used it for last weeks INKspired hop and have now can't get enough of it!
Have you started getting ready for Christmas? Are you one of those super-organised people who has everything out for Christmas already? If you are, I am jealous and we can no longer be friends! Hahaha. Jokes. We can still be friends, but you now need to come over and get me organised. I'll put the kettle on. :)

Next on the hop is the amazingly talented Barbara Williams

My Story - Joining Stampin' Up!

25 November 2016

As you know, I generally don't do blog posts about joining. So why today? Well,  I've been asked a couple of time lately about why I joined and I thought I would share some of my own Stampin' journey with you.

The Beginning: Free Product! I joined Stampin' Up! in 2011 after being a customer for two years and finally taking the leap. My goal was to get some of my craft supplies for free with the Starter Kit and continue to get them at a discount. I held a couple of small classes with my family and friends and it was never with the intention of running a craft business!

In 2012 I attended my first convention in Canberra and I was in awe of this amazing company, its generosity, its core values and the spark it created in me - I came home with stamp sets, a bag, new product, a new catalogue and made some projects. I also came home with new friendships.  That same year Stampin' Up! announced the next Incentive Trip was to their Headquarters in Utah, USA and I knew I just couldn't miss it. I jumped up came home with a plan to earn that trip! I hosted workshops, classes, attended markets and craft shows and finally on the last day earned the trip.

The Middle: Since then I have earned three more incentive trips and all of them have been out-of-this-world. Never in a million-trillion years would I have ever believed I would be part of a company that would allow me to craft and travel the world! Not just travel the world, but in style, and to destinations that I thought I would NEVER see.... Utah and the company manufacturing facility in Kanab, the biggest cruise ship in the world, Hawaii and the Mediterranean are now firmly ticked off my 'things to do' list!

The Now: In the last 12 months my darling husband, Daniel and I have relocated our family to Kiama (south of Sydney) after selling our home & air conditioning business - talk about stressful! We have now started to settle in and I have again over-run our house with papers, stamps and all things Stampin' Up!. It feels good to be back in the groove! Another major change is to be doing things more online than face to face. A challenge for sure, but in this day and age of internet access it is far easier for my team and my customers to access me for questions, answers and any assistance they may need from me.

Why an earth am I telling you all this? Because I want you to feel connected with me. That I am just a craft-a-holic like you! You don't need to earn trips or run a business (though there's nothing stopping you) but you can easily join to get your craft products at a discount. You will also  join a group of like-minded, positive, fun crafters who will make you feel welcome.

The other reason? I am looking for lovely people to join my team. Our team is called 'Tickled pINK Stampers.'  (You don't even need to like the colour pink; I promise I'll get over it! LOL)

International Visual Blog Hop

23 November 2016

Welcome to our International Visual Blog Hop. We have all created this gallery of projects for you to be inspired by! We would love it if you could visit every one of our blogs and see a close up of our projects. Our theme this month is LOVE. You can see the gallery below and this will be on every blog that you click on so you will never be lost.

I know my own project today isn't red and white, romancey or all 'lovey-dovey', however it has been made with tons of love for my dear friend Angela Meiritz-Reid. No reason really, there doesn't always need to be a reason does there? I made because she is just such a beautiful, inspiring lady, who supports and loves everyone.
I used the Garden in Bloom stamp set and you may not have seen this lovely paper before, but it's from another one of my favourite products - the Hello Lovely Project Life Card Collection. I also 'cased' (copy and selectively edit) Jess Williams and her brilliant idea of stamping on the Fancy Frost Designer Paper!

Thanks for visiting my blog today, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don't want to miss. We know that you will love our gallery of projects made from Stampin' Up! Demonstrators around the world!
