#GDP63 - Tasty Trucks Sneak Peek!

21 November 2016

**Sneak Peek Alert!**
This week for the Global Design Project there's an fun theme challenge and I just had to use some new product I got my hands on this week. How did I get new product?! Because as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator we can get our hot little hands on product early. One of the great perks!
I also used last weeks sketch for this project. My advice for changing up your designs - go back and re-love some of our challenges!

This adorable little ice cream truck will be part of the Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration collection that starts next January. I know I might be getting in a little early with the sneak peek, but I needed to get you excited, right?!
You may be wondering how icecream fits into the 'adventure' theme? Well, some of my fondest adventures revolve around this tasty treat - and all with my some of my favourite people! Here's just some of them:
(Honestly - Mehgan and I could have a photo reel just to ourselves, however in an attempt not to incriminate ourselves we avoid photos with icecream - but let's just say we've had our fair share!)

Now head on over the Global Design Project to see our extraordinary Design Team. Each week I am blown away with their talent!

Global Design Project - Sketch Challenge

14 November 2016

#GDP062
This week we have a sketch challenge over at the Global Design Project and I created a pink raining onesie card for a team member who had a sweet baby girl last week.

Craft room bloopers - we all make them. I'll admit I've had my fair share (it's hard to believe I know!) But it's how we come out of them that makes all the difference right?!

Well this card was just suppose to be cute pink raining onesies, until one of those onesies decided to get a big splotch on them - not the pretty kind! Which I suppose still could have worked for a baby card, but I really didn't want that, so it's now a shaker card!

I white embossed the onesie stamp from the Made with Love set onto Watercolor Paper and coloured using them using my Blender Pen, Melon Mambo Ink and Pink Pirouette - my favourite pink combo!

Now to head over to the Global Design Project and be inspired for the week ahead with this great sketch challenge.

INKspired Blog Hop #45

13 November 2016

Welcome to the INKspired Blog Hop this Sunday evening. You may have just hopped here from Maree McIntosh.

Every two weeks we have a sketch challenge and enjoy sharing our team creations with you. We have a great lineup this week, so please make sure you hop all the way around by hitting the next button at the bottom of the page.

Here is this weeks sketch:

Sitting quietly, minding its own business on my paper shelf, has been a neglected pack of Fancy Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper. What an earth is going on right?! This paper is white-on-white with a textured pattern, which when coloured with sponging can be really quite effective, but the paper on its own is also stunning.

This is a quick post tonight because truth be told I am organised for once and have this post scheduled! I will be back this week to share more fun from Onstage with new product sneak peeks and swap gifts I received.

Next on the hop is the fabulously talented Barbara Williams

Below is a quick video from Stampin' Up! highlighting the Fancy Frost Specialty Paper:

*Exciting News* 2016 Onstage Live - Brisbane

08 November 2016

My goodness, I am overwhelmed with so many emotions. YES!!!! You are seeing correctly. I AM OFFICIALLY A 2017 ARTISAN DESIGN TEAM MEMBER. And yes, I did just scream this from the roof top. Pinch me now. I will admit that I am a little nervous, however extremely excited and immensely honoured to be presented with such a prestigious award.

What is the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team?
The Artisan Design Team is a group of very creative and talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrator bloggers who are selected by Stampin' Up! to create, post, and blog about the projects they create.

When my name was called I couldn't control my excitement, jumping up and down and getting to personally squeeze Shelli and Sara - which is a thrill just in itself! After walking off stage we were presented with this lovely gift box, which has my personal Artisan stamp and also a gorgeous Tiffany bracelet engraved with Artisan on it.

My good friends Kylie Bertucci and Denita Wright needed a photo with the star of the moment and I did not rub it in at all - ok maybe just a little! ;)
I am delighted to be sharing this role with some other amazingly talented stampers from around the world. There were three of us chosen from the South Pacific - Rochelle Blok, Australia and Paula Dobson, New Zealand.

I didn't even open my gift straight away because I wanted to wait until I could record it so I could share the excitement with you all. Videographer: Kylie Bertucci.

I would like to congratulate all the other 2017 Artisan Design Team Members. They are:
Mindy Bingamon
Jennifer Sootkoos
Tanya Boser
Mercedes Weber
Dani Dziama
Holly Stene
Kimberly Van Diepen
Shannon Lane
Cathy Caines
Allison Okamitsu
Martha Inchley
Katy Harrison
Maike Ulbrich
Sylwia Schreck
Aurélie Fabre
Jessica Winter
Miriam van Eyden
Rochelle Blok
Louise Sharp
Paula Dobson

Even though being awarded with Artisan was one of the stand out moments, I had so many other memorable and enjoyable times. Getting to reconnect with my Stampin' sisters from around the country was one of them.

The selfie reel:
I stayed and travelled with my good friends Denita Wright and Narelle Macy; Kylie Bertucci; Ellen Woodbridge; Marni Cadd; Rhonda Bailey; Kylie Bertucci and Shannon West from Head Office, Utah; Carolyn Bennie; Jodie Griffith; Kym Byrne; Ana from Head Office, Australia; Angela Meiritz-Reid; Carolina Evans.

Another highlight of Onstage was getting to meet this lovely lady in the middle, Robyn Cardon from My Pink Stamper who travelled over from Utah, USA to enjoy Onstage in Australia. What a treat!

I am also with my dear friend Kylie Bertucci from Victoria, Australia. She rocks and I'm so proud of her achievements this past year. Kylie was presented with so many amazing awards including making it into the Top 100 Demonstrators worldwide, not only that - she came #8! This places Kylie as the #1 Demonstrator in Australia. I'm so proud of her and so grateful for her friendship and support.

I will be back with another Onstage post this week to share a sneak peek of some new upcoming products and more from the amazing time we had.

The best part of these events is you get to be the first see and receive new product. Even if you don't get to go to the event, Stampin' Up! Demonstrators are given the opportunity to purchase first. Have you been thinking about joining? You should!! No pressure - you can find our more info about joining my team by Clicking Here.

Did I mention I'm an Artisan?! Hahahaha. Ok, I'll stop now. (The sign should actually say 2016-2017)
