Mojo Monday 238

26 April 2012

Mojo Monday is a sketch challenge I am taking part in every week and
everyone is welcome to join in. There are always interesting sketch ideas
and some amazing cards created by some very talented ladies.

My Mojo sketch this week was also inspired from a card by the ultra talented,Teneale Williams. Below is her card she created using the faux tiling effect - isn't she clever! (I must admit, it's a bit intimidating putting one of Teneale's cards on my website!)

This is this weeks Mojo Sketch:

This is my layout - using the faux tiling effect:

Stamp Set: Bordering on Romance
Accessories: Simply Scored, Big Shot, Circle Punch, Wild Wasabi Striped Grosgrain Ribbon,
Rose Red Stamp Pad, Stampin' Up! Watercolour Pencils and Blender Pen.
Colour Combination: Regal Rose, Lucky Limeade, Wild Wasabi & Rose Red

I used the 'Simply Scored' tool and Stylus from Stampin' Up! to get the scoring lines perfect!

Thanks for looking - LOVE your comments!

  1. Beautiful card! I really like how the green pops against all that pink.

  2. Oh, wow--simply gorgeous! I've never heard of the Faux Tiling technique--thanks for educating me! Your card is every bit as wonderful as the inspiration card.

  4. The pinks in your card make me happy. :) I love the tile look you created with this card, and the way you decorated the inside of your card.
