Linking Cards to Challenges

13 August 2014

Sweet Little Babushka
I made this card for my God-Daughter who turned six this week. It's hard to believe that six years have passed since she was born and I am so blessed to be her God-Mother.

I am also playing along to the Just Add Ink Sketch Challenge this week:
JAI 226

I used the stamp set Today & Everyday on page 168 and coloured with the new Blendabilities.

Stamp Set: Today & Everyday
Accessories: Blendabilities, 2 1/2'' Circle Punch, Cotton Ribbon
Designer Series Paper: Flowerpot
Colour Combination: Whisper White, Bermuda Bay, Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight,  Melon Mambo

Correctly Linking Cards to Challenges
I have had a few team members ask on how to correctly link cards to challenge blogs.

Here's some things to remember:
1. Mention and link the challenge in your blog post
2. Explain how your creation fits into the challenge
3. Link ONLY the blog post and not your whole blog

I created a quick video for my team and I thought I would also share it with you. (Sorry about my head cold! It's winter in Australia and you can probably hear it in my voice! )

Thanks for stopping by,
Lou xo

  6. Stunning card! Lou, you have such a great 'eye'. Your coloring is beautiful. When can we expect a tutorial on coloring with blendabilities?
As you well know - I'm way behind the times in the technology department...so I'm extra impressed with your video tutorial. Thanks for sharing.
