Global Design Project - Colour Challenge

03 April 2017

I seem to find colour challenges so, well, challenging! However, I do love the navy/white colour combo and even have a pinterest board dedicated to it! And of course when adding a the option a free colour choice, one just HAS to go with pink right?! Louise's Colour Combo: Night of Navy, Whisper White and Melon Mambo....my favourite!

I watercoloured using the Aqua Painter and the ink from the Melon Mambo Ink Pad onto Shimmery White Cardstock - applying a few flicks of the brush to give some splatters - and stamped the flower image from Birthday Blooms with Night of Navy Ink. I repeated this process on another piece of Shimmery White and cut out the large flower, curling it up a little using my fingers and adhered it with Multipurpose Tombow Glue. To finish of the flower I added tiny pearls to the centre.

I made this card for a 'dear friend' who I will being seeing on the weekend at the Stampin' Up! Onstage Event in Sydney - I am so excited!

Now head over to the Global Design Project and see what the amazing Design Team have in store for you this week.

Thanks for stopping by,
