Your Perfect Day Wedding Card

30 May 2015

With the Occasions Catalogue about to come to an end on the 2nd June and with a wedding just around the corner, I knew I had to get more use out of the 'Your Perfect Day' stamp set.

I glittered the cake icing using Crystal Effects and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.

Now...it's hard not to love all the Stampin' Up! Catalogues, I get it. They are all exploding with beautiful ideas and delicious stamp sets and accessories. However, the 2015 Occasions Catalogue has been my absolute favourite. I swooned over the flowers on the front cover and purchased the kit straight away. I am going to miss quite a few things from this catalogue. Thankfully though, the new Annual 2015-2016 Catalogue has me falling in love with so many new things that I can't wait to get my hands on.

LAST CHANCE - Don't say I didn't warn you!
Make sure you don't miss out on anything you love and Shop Now. There's also some great specials on the Retired List and the Clearance Rack.

Need the NEW Catalogue?

If you would like to purchase the upcoming new Annual 2015-2016 Catalogue they are $7.95 and I will ship on to you straight away.

Just Add Ink - Colour Combo

Just Add Ink 225
Happily Ever After
Over at Just Add Ink this week the challenge is a colour challenge.
Now, if you follow my blog you will know that I generally get stuck on colour challenges! I don't know what it is but for some reason  as soon as I see colour challenge I lose my mojo!

JAI 225

I am quite happy with the result and have fallen in love with the new Lovely Lace Embossing Folder.

I have created a quick tutorial on how I achieved this effect on my card, as in the image you can't really see the texture of the embossing and it just looks like I have stamped white stamps on it!

Look out - this is my VERY FIRST video tutorial, with many more to come. *insert smiley face :)

Stamp Sets: Big News
Accessories: Lovely Lace Embossing Folder. SEam Binding Ribbon, White Ink Pad, Embossing Powder

Just Add Bows

26 September 2013

"Always the Bridesmaid, never the Bride"

The Just Add Ink challenge this week is from Nikki, 'Just Add Bows' and as you know, I always love adding bows to my cards, but this time, for me, it had to be an 'amazing' bow - a stand out bow!

JAI 184

As for the quote, for me it's different. I have never been a bridesmaid. I have been blessed by being a bride and I loved it, but never a bridesmaid. Until now! So you can imagine my excitement when I was asked and of course I needed to create the most amazing engagement card for my best-friend and her fiancé! I can't wait for them to 'tie the knot.' ;)

This is a tri-fold card, so it needed to be on an easle!

The card was so thick that I made a box for it!

I am loving the new Modern Medley Designer Series Paper on page 154.
I have seen so many beautiful cards made using this paper, great for Christmas and male cards too! I used it >HERE< a few months ago.
