CASEing Jess Williams - Global Design Project

#GDP068
I love it when we get to CASE team designers on the Global Design Project for 'CASE the Designer' challenge. This week we are getting our inspiration from the amazingly talented and super sweet Jess Williams from The Paper Caper.

The definition of CASE: Copy And Share Everything
Put simply, we get our inspiration from a particular project or creation. For this challenge we can use ANY element. You might be inspired by the colours, the stamp set or the card layout. However you are inspired, why not play along this week?
I took my inspiration from Jess's balloons and have used my new Up & Away Framlites Dies from the upcoming Occasions Catalogue to create a congratulations card for some friends who have introduced a gorgeous baby boy into their lives.

I made this card and thought to myself..."hmmm, maybe I should add more layers, an extra colour, more clouds, a watercoloured background, a banner or an extra embellishment"....this happens with most creations, however everything I seemed to do took away from the fresh, clean look I was trying to achieve. I love this card now and added a sweet little bow, which I think is all it needed!

Now head on over to the Global Design Project and be inspired for another week of stunning cards from the Design Team.

  2. Louise, what a stunning card, all white. White clouds, white balloon, just that beautiful touch of color on the base card and tie.
And thank you so much for your lovely comment. They might well get along.
